From
sophisticated, mellow jazz with cocktails to swing, jive and funky
rhythms for dancing the night away - The Jazzberries can provide
music to make your occasion truly special.
Since 1996, The Jazzberries have brought together some of the best
young talents on the London jazz scene to provide distinctive,
quality jazz for parties and events throughout the UK.
The Jazzberries combine a professional approach - musicianship,
punctuality and smart appearance - with a friendly manner and a
lively sense of fun.
The band features between 3 and 8 players chosen from piano,
double bass, drums, trumpet, saxophone, guitar, viola, vibraphone
and female vocalist. |

Their
repertoire is based on classic tunes from greats such as Ella
Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Miles
Davis, Charlie Parker, Louis Jordan and Antonio Carlos Jobim, plus
well known standards by Gershwin, Cole Porter, Kern and Sondheim.
They move effortlessly from traditional swing and ballads, through
bebop, latin jazz and jive to modern jazz and jazz-funk.
They are happy to stick to one or two styles and are more than
willing to play requests. The full 8-piece band can also
play salsa, if requested in advance.
The Jazzberries have provided music for numerous private and
public events including wedding receptions, corporate parties and
PR events plus Christmas, New Year and Valentine Balls.
From celebrities’ gardens to funky warehouses, marquees to
stately homes, restaurants to nightclubs, they are happy to
perform wherever the party is. Though they usually play in
and around London, they’ve also been booked as far a field as
Manchester, Bournemouth, Sheffield and Devon.
