Andrew Ballantyne was born in London where he studied music from an early age.  He attended the London College of Music for four years where he became a Fellow of Music and gained an Honours Degree.  For the past twenty years he has had a varied career teaching and performing.  Now based in Sussex, he is much in demand playing at Weddings, Receptions and Functions.

 With an outgoing and friendly personality he can create a relaxing atmosphere with a wide selection of music played on his beautiful harp, either during the wedding service, at the reception or both.

 The Harp always adds a touch of elegance to the day and the sound evokes feelings of romance and tranquillity.  Believing in the personal touch, he likes to meet all couples and play to them and is able to offer ideas and advice on the choice of music for the “big day”.

 Andrew has worked at various venues in the South including the Royal Pavilion, The Grand and The Metropole in Brighton, Amberley Castle and many Country Houses and Hotels throughout the South.

 As per the photograph, Andrew has also performed on the LK Today show with Lorraine Kelly on GMTV.
